Raiders agree to terms with first-round pick CB Conley

  • Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that the Oakland Raiders have agreed to terms with cornerback Gareon Conley. Oakland drafted Conley with the 24th pick in the first round this year from Ohio State.
  • Conley was the sixth-ranked cornerback on PFF's 2017 Draft Board and the 35th overall prospect. Last season his 85.6 overall PFF grade ranked 20th out of 473 qualifying cornerbacks.
  • In 2016 Conley only allowed 159 yards receiving on 309 snaps in coverage, the second-lowest yards per cover snap at 0.51 of all cornerbacks in FBS with at least 250 coverage snaps.
