QB Aaron Rodgers has a broken collarbone

  • It has been confirmed that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers broke his right collarbone Sunday afternoon after a hit by Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr.
  • Rodgers was excelling under pressure prior to being hurt, earning the fourth-highest passer rating in that department through week 5.
  • This would be the second time in his professional career Rodgers has broken his collarbone. In 2013 he missed seven starts with a broken left collarbone, and the Packers went 2-4-1 without him.
  • Backup Brett Hundley replaced Rodgers against the Vikings. Hudley had played only 30 snaps and attempted 11 passes in his career before Sunday.
