  • According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Green Bay Packers rookie cornerback Kevin King has struggled mightily during camp so far. King was the Packers second-round pick of this year’s draft and was initially thought to be a lock for one of the outside starting spots.
  • King had a very productive 2016 season at Washington. Among draft-eligible Pac-12 cornerbacks, King ranked third in cover snaps per reception allowed at 13.7, and third also in passer rating against at 55.6. King allowed just 50 percent of the passes into his coverage to be caught.
  • Outside of King, the Packers boast one of the league’s worst-graded cornerback units. Among top returning cornerbacks, Quinten Rollins earned the highest grade at 46.2 overall, which ranked 87th out of 110 qualifying cornerbacks.
