No timetable for Bridgewater's return
- According to Chris Tomasson via twitter, Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman said there is still no timetable for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater’s return, “Everybody asks me the timeline when he’s coming back and it’s an unknown because of the severity of the injury”.
- Bridgewater, who missed the entire 2016 season because of a dislocated knee and a torn ACL, has been seen throwing during OTAs and it could still be a possibility that he backs up QB Sam Bradford at some point next year.
- Bridgewater began his career with two impressive seasons, ranking eighth and 13th among quarterbacks in 2014 and 2015 with overall PFF grades of 86.8 (2014) and 82.6 (2015).
- A big reason for Bridgewater’s success is his accuracy, Bridgewater ranked first in 2015 and fourth in 2014 for adjusted completion percentage with marks of 79.3 and 77.3 percent respectively.
