Oakland Raiders @ Baltimore Ravens – CBS, 1:00 PM
Carr’s not ending the game on a high note
Derek Carr is starting the game as well as any quarterback in the league. But as the game progresses, his production falls.
Richard making plays in receiving game
On an offense that has been looking for playmakers, Jalen Richard has proven to be a real threat in the passing game.
Raiders’ search for a pass rush continues
The storyline continues, as the Raiders’ continue to lack a pass-rush this season.
Run defense not standing strong
Another facet of the game, another way the Raiders struggle on defense. The team has allowed the 29th-most yards before contact per attempt in the league and has also missed the second-most tackles in the run game.
Jackson’s quick draw
Lamar Jackson made his first career start last week against the Bengals and earned a 50.0 overall grade. As with most rookie quarterbacks, Jackson had a drop in production when holding onto the ball longer.
A new face in the Ravens’ backfield
Gus Edwards ran through the Bengals’ defense for 5.35 yards after contact per attempt last week. Edwards led the NFL with a rushing grade of 89.7, which is the sixth-highest rushing grade by a running back in 2018.
Smith wreaking havoc in the backfield
Za’Darius Smith is having a breakout season, especially in the pass-rush department. His 81.3 pass-rush grade in 2018 is the fifth-highest at the position and by far a career-high.
A secondary that’ll haunt offenses
With the return of Jimmy Smith from suspension, this team’s cornerbacks have been as strong of a position group as any in the NFL.
