“The New York Giants just stepped towards the “seller” category, as they shipped 2016 10th overall pick cornerback Eli Apple to the New Orleans Saints for a 2019 fourth-round pick and a 2020 seventh-round pick.”
“The best reality show on television continues, as the New York Giants traded interior defensive lineman Damon Harrison to the Detroit Lions for a fifth-round pick early Wednesday morning. This move comes less than 24 hours after the Giants dealt former first-round pick Eli Apple to the New Orleans Saints.”
“The Khalil Mack saga wound its way to a close over a month ago, but fans quickly received a sequel. The Dallas Cowboys have reportedly sent a first-round pick in exchange for Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper.”
“The Demaryius Thomas era is over in Denver.”
Packers send Ty Montgomery to Ravens after kickoff catastrophe
Ty Montgomery‘s time with the Green Bay Packers has come to a close just days after he fumbled away Aaron Rodgers‘ chance of coming back to beat the Los Angeles Rams on the road. Green Bay received peanuts (2020 seventh-round pick) from the Baltimore Ravens in return for Montgomery.
“The Los Angeles Rams are effectively going all in on 2018 just days after they took down the Green Bay Packers. Los Angeles has traded their 2019 third-round pick as well as their 2020 fifth-round pick for former Jacksonville edge defender Dante Fowler, per Adam Schefter.”
“The trade for Tate gives the Eagles a proven offensive weapon that makes life easier on their franchise quarterback, Carson Wentz. Tate’s ability to turn short passes into big gains will be welcomed in the City of Brotherly Love.”
“The aggressive move signifies that the Redskins are ready to take hold of the NFC East and make a playoff run this season.”
