  • Mitch Trubisky has been named the new Chicago Bears starting quarterback after the team’s defeat at the hands of Green Bay conclusively on Thursday night.
  • Mike Glennon was outplayed by Trubisky in preseason, but he was far from the biggest problem over the first month of the season, riding inconsistent play to an overall PFF grade of 71.7, which ranks 23rd among all quarterbacks.
  • Chicago’s offensive line has had injury issues and has the league’s 26th-ranked pass blocking efficiency score (72.0), but should improve now they are getting healthy for Trubisky.
  • Chicago’s receivers have dropped the second-most passes in the league, with Glennon seeing 11 of his 140 attempts hit the hands of his receivers before falling incomplete.
