    • According to the Houston Chronicle, Houston Texans RB Lamar Miller is felling “very comfortable” heading into his second year with the Texans. “I know the blocking schemes and stuff. I think it will be a good year,” Miller said.
    • Miller played in a career high 714 snaps last year and carried the ball 268 times, which was also a career high but his production suffered due to being in a bad offense. Miller had his lowest graded season since his rookie season, ranking 41st out of 62 qualifying running backs, with a PFF overall grade of 67.5.
    • Miller will hope to return to his 2014 season form, a season in which the running back ranked seventh among 58 qualifying running backs with a PFF overall grade of 83.2. In that season his running grade of 84.2 ranked third.
    • His 29 % breakaway percentage tied for 14th in 2014 and his cumulative number of yards gained on break away runs ranked tenth out of 42 qualifying running backs that season, with 319 of his 1101 rushing yard coming on such runs (Breakaway percentage is the percent of yards which came on runs of 15 or more yards).
