  • Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports that Baltimore Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon suffered a tear in his meniscus and as a result, will undergo surgery today. Dixon will already serve a 4-game suspension at the start of the season for a violation of the league’s performance enhancing drug policy, but it is unclear how long the surgery will sideline him for.
  • A valuable asset to the Ravens’ backfield, Dixon forced 26 missed tackles on 88 carries and earned a 79.1 overall grade, ranking 17th of 61 eligible running backs. His run grade of 82.1 was ninth best among running backs.
  • Dixon contributed right away as a rookie in 2016. He had the second-most snaps at running back for the Ravens, with the highest yards per attempt (4.3) and the highest yards after contact per attempt (2.9).
