  • The Jacksonville Jaguars have confirmed via their team Twitter account that wide receiver Allen Robinson suffered a left knee ACL injury in their opening-day victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday and will miss the rest of the season.
  • Robinson had a breakout season in 2015. His PFF overall rating of 87.5 ranked 12th among wide receivers. During 2015 his 672 yards from deep passes (passes of 20 or more yards) was the most in the NFL out of 140 qualifying wide receivers.
  • The Jaguars’ offensive problems in 2016 meant Robinson was unable to replicate his 2015 form and his overall grade dropped to 74.9. His deep passing yards total fell to 108 and his wide receiver rating (passer rating when a receiver is targeted) was 63.5 with 7 interceptions, compared to 105.4 in 2015.
  • Robinson participated in 94.3 percent of the Jaguars offensive snaps last season and was targeted 144 times, 40 percent of the team’s total targets.
