  • Per Chicago Sun Times reporter Patrick Finley, Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard had vision surgery in May in hopes to improve his field vision and pass-catching.
  • In 2016, Howard graded as the seventh-best running back, with a grade of 81.0. Of the 19 backs with over 200 carries, Howard tied for the fourth-most yards after contact per carry (3.0). He also ranked second in average yards per attempt (5.2).
  • While he was dominant as a runner, Howard has much room for improvement with his receiving. He received a grade of 49.0 for the season, ranking 49th out of 53 running backs. His eight drops led the league at the position.
