Former Eagles WR Riley Cooper tries out for Tampa Bay

After spending the 2016 season out of the league, former Eagles WR Riley Cooper is participating in Buccaneers’ rookie minicamp for tryout purposes. Cooper, a long shot to make the roster, could provide some size to the Buccaneers’ receivers with both Vincent Jackson and Louis Murphy currently free agents.

  • Cooper’s yards per route run in 2015 was the ninth lowest among receivers with at least 310 routes at 0.98 YPRR.
  • Cooper saw his snap percentage decline over his previous three years in the league going from 89.2 percent in 2013 to 81.7 percent in 2014 and then to 49.4 percent in 2015.
