  • In a video acquired by TMZ, Denver Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer was seen being pepper-sprayed after slapping a bouncer. Police are not investigating the incident and charges were not filed. After the video surfaced, Cody Latimer released a statement saying that he’s been “grinding and focused on football this entire off season” and that he’s “on a really positive path.”
  • Latimer has seen limited action so far in his career, and played just 462 snaps since entering the league. In 2016, Latimer was a non-factor in the Broncos passing attack, and accounted for just 2.5 percent of the Broncos 563 targets.
  • Latimer has seen an increase in targets every year up to this point, so will look to improve on the 14 targets he saw in 2016. On his limited targets last season, he didn't drop any of the catchable passes thrown his way.
  • The Broncos coaching staff have praised Latimer’s progress, as Latimer works to increase his role in the offense. Since 2014, Latimer averages just 0.67 yards per route run, ranking 33rd of the 34 wide receivers taken in the 2014 draft with at least 25 targets.
