  • In an interview with Kevin Casas of the Dallas Star Telegram, Dallas Cowboys defensive end Damontre Moore has said that he wants to make the most of his playing time in Dallas. “I just asked myself, what do I really want from this game,” he said. “I really love the game, but if you really love it, why aren’t you doing everything to the best of your ability.”
  • Moore played just 104 snaps in three games for the Seattle Seahawks in 2016. He achieved an overall grade of 51.4 and a pass rush productivity (the PFF metric that measures pressure on per snap basis with weighting towards sacks) of 6.1, which ranked 58th of 83 4-3 defensive ends.
  • His best season as a pro came in 2014, where he generated 31 total pressures on 220 pass rush snaps. He ended the season with a pass rush productivity of 11.3, which ranked eighth of 56 edge defenders with at least 140 snaps. With incumbent defensive ends David Irving and Randy Gregory suspended, the Cowboys will want him to return to the form he found in 2014 to help their pass rush.
