Chargers G Matt Slauson out for the season

  • The Los Angeles Chargers announced that guard Matt Slauson has been placed on Injured Reserve and will miss the remainder of the 2017 season. Slauson suffered a biceps injury in Week 7 against the Denver Broncos.
  • Slauson was PFF's 52nd ranked guard this season with a 45.0 overall grade. He has allowed 12 total pressures with no sacks in 257 pass-block snaps this season, and is ranked 33rd in PFF pass-blocking efficiency.
  • Rookie Dan Feeney took over for Slauson at left guard, and in 26 snaps recorded a 73.7 game grade that ranked 23rd at guard in Week 7. He has played 50 snaps this season, and has not allowed a pressure in 23 pass-block snaps. Feeney was PFF's third ranked guard in the 2017 NFL draft.
