- Hayward led the league in interceptions last season, but also allowed only one score over the 93 passes sent his way over the season, and wasn't beaten for a pass longer than 40 yards all season.
- Hayward allowed a passer rating of just 53.4 when targeted last season, the third best among starting corners.
