  • Marshon Lattimore, the New Orleans Saints’ first-round pick in this years draft, currently owns a 90.4 overall grade, making him one of just four cornerbacks to possess an elite grade (over 90.0). He’s now had three consecutive games where he’s graded north of 85.0.
  • Lattimore is one of 60 cornerbacks who’ve spent at least 150 snaps in coverage so far this season, among that group he ranks eighth with an average of just 0.63 yards surrendered per coverage snap (receiving yards given up divided by the number of snaps spent in coverage).
  • Against the Detroit Lions this past weekend – a game where Matthew Stafford threw for 312 yards and three touchdowns – Lattimore saw eight targets into his coverage and he allowed just three of them to be caught for a total of 24 yards. He had an interception as well as another pass breakup and held Stafford to just a 6.3 passer rating on throws into his coverage.
