  • Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer, who has been limited in some offseason practices to rest his arm, will not play in the Hall of Fame Game, according to head coach Bruce Arians.
  • Palmer’s overall grade of 81.8 last season ranked 15th out of 33 qualified quarterbacks, though it was down from his 2015 grade of 93.0, which was a career high.
  • Palmer didn’t rely on the deep ball as much in 2016, as his deep pass attempt percentage dropped from 16.0 in 2015 (third highest in the league), to 11.6 in 2016 (14th highest in the league).
