  • Cleveland Browns cornerback Jason McCourty was excellent in coverage Sunday in the team’s 24-10 loss against the Baltimore Ravens.
  • McCourty currently boasts the fourth-best coverage-snaps-per-reception rate among 102 qualifying cornerbacks, with 36. He is currently allowing the third-lowest passer rating in coverage with 19.6, trailing only Baltimore Ravens Brandon Carr and Los Angeles Rams Trumaine Johnson.
  • The veteran was targeted five times in coverage Sunday, not allowing a single reception and grabbing one interception. He finished the game with an overall grade of 87.7, the highest grade among all Browns players. Through almost two weeks of NFL action, McCourty currently ranks fourth among 102 qualifying cornerbacks with an overall grade of 86.0.
