Bengals WR A.J. Green reportedly wants to play 7 more years

  • Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green turns 29 before the season, but his goal is to play for seven more seasons, according to Bengals website editor Geoff Hobson.
  • After amassing 3,167 offensive snaps 2011-2013 (a result of playing in 47 out of a possible 48 games), Green saw just 2,251 offensive snaps 2014-2016. In 2016 AJ Green finished as PFF’s fourth-highest-graded WR among 115 qualifiers, earning an 88.1 grade.
  • Green’s WR rating (passer rating when targeted) of 116.3 was seventh-best in the NFL among wide receivers who had at least 88 targets. Green also posted a 50 percent catch rate on deep balls, which was second-best in the NFL among receivers who saw at least 20 deep targets.
  • Green’s 2.86 yards per route run were second-best in the NFL behind only Julio Jones.
