  • The Bears have signed outside linebacker Dan Skuta, who played his 2013 and 2014 seasons with current Chicago DC Vic Fangio as his defensive coordinator in San Francisco.
  • Skuta had the best two seasons of his career in San Francisco under Fangio. In 2013, his highest graded season, he ranked sixth in pass rushing productivity an seventh in run stop percentage (minimum 100 passing/run snaps).
  • Skuta was a very efficient tackler last year, not missing a single tackle and recording 16 stops in his 267 snaps. He was one of only seven outside linebackers in 2016 to not miss a single tackle (minimum 150 snaps).
  • A situational player, Skuta has never played more than 50 percent of snaps in a season and has seen his snap percentage decline the past three seasons.
