Hey there football fans! Here are five things you need to know from yesterday to start off your Friday:

  1. PFF released our AFC training camp battles! It includes some of the most significant battles across all 16 AFC teams. No less than five AFC teams have battles for the starting quarterback position.
  2. Le'Veon Bell was not at the first day of training camp. The star Pittsburgh Steelers running back is seeking a long-term extension but has yet to get one from the team.
  3. Colin Kaepernick might be an option for the Ravens. Joe Flacco is dealing with a back injury and the Baltimore Ravens are looking at Kaepernick to fill in. Kaepernick was last linked to the Chargers, who traded for a different quarterback.
  4. Is Jordy Nelson being underrated in fantasy football? PFF's Daniel Kelley looked into the matter, finding that Nelson is one of the best wide receiver options you could choose after the top tier of receivers.
  5. The fantasy team power rankings come to a close! PFF's Tyler Loechner finished out the series with teams 1 through 4. The Dallas Cowboys take the top spot, with important fantasy (and real life) players like Ezekiel Elliott, Dez Bryant, and Dak Prescott.
