49ers WR Aldrick Robinson to be a situational player in 2017

  • 49ers.com reporter Joe Fann expects WR Aldrick Robinson to be a ‘situational player' in 2017. The team added Robinson this offseason, as well as fellow WRs Marquise Goodwin and Pierre Garcon.
  • Robinson is coming off his highest-graded season, where he earned a PFF grade of 70.1 with the Falcons.
  • Known for speed, only four of Robinson's 31 targets in 2016 were on deep passes (20+ air yards). He caught two of them, scoring once.
  • Catching 20 of his 31 regular season targets overall, Robinson finished last season with a wide receiver rating of 120.8, ranking eighth among 113 wide receivers with at least 30 targets.
