2018 NFL Offensive Line Rankings: All 32 teams' units after Week 12

Offensive line rankings are back! Since we’re positive people here at PFF, we’re going to highlight the most impressive performances from each respective offensive line so far this season.

[Editor's Note: Now that we are through Week 12 of the 2018 regular season, we've adjusted the rankings to factor in ALL snaps played along each team's offensive line so far this season. Therefore, the rankings below reflect how every offensive lineman on each team has contributed in Weeks 1-12.]

The Steelers' Week 6 come back win in Cincinnati was a bit of a turning point in their season. In that game, they didn’t allow a single sack or hit against a talented Bengals front. Right guard David DeCastro earned an 83.3 run blocking grade and center Maurkice Pouncey a 76.3.

Los Angeles kicked off the season with arguably the most dominant performance of any offensive line this season. Granted it came against a hapless Raiders front, but it was impressive nonetheless. The Rams front-5 was responsible for a grand total of two total pressures and four of their five offensive linemen had 80.0-plus run-blocking grades.

Yet another line that dominated the Raiders' defensive front. Back in Week 4, the Browns allowed only four pressures on 48 pass-blocking snaps. No offensive lineman on the Browns gave up more than one pressure in the game.

The Colts' line has been on a tear of late, and no game exemplified that better than their manhandling of the Titans in Week 11. The Colts' offensive line surrendered only two pressures on 34 pass plays with Anthony Castonzo, Quenton Nelson and Mark Glowinski getting clean sheets.

Drew Brees’ record-breaking performance against the Redskins in Week 5 just so happened to coincide with a dominant game from his offensive line. In that game, only Andrus Peat (1) and Terron Armstead (2) allowed any pressures as the Saints line rolled.

Green Bay has struggled over the past handful of weeks, but in Week 4 against the Bills, the offensive line fueled a Packers victory. They didn’t give up a single sack all day and allowed all of four pressures.

The Eagles' highest-graded offensive line performance actually came in a losing effort. In Week 5 against the Vikings, Philadelphia had easily their best run-blocking performance of the season. Lane Johnson was the headliner with a 90.2 run-blocking grade.

In the much anticipated Week 9 Sunday Night Football matchup with the Packers, the Pats' offensive line paved the way to victory. Both Joe Thuney and Marcus Cannon had clean sheets on 40 pass-blocking snaps, and it was their highest-graded run-blocking performance, as well.

The Titans' most impressive offensive line performance of the season just so happened to be their most impressive team performance as well. In their 34-10 win over the Pats in Week 10, the line didn’t allow Marcus Mariota to be knocked down once, and tackles Taylor Lewan and Dennis Kelly went pressureless.

You have to go all the way back to Week 1 for the Bears' offensive line’s best of the season. Of the four sacks in that game, all four were charged to Mitch Trubisky, as the Bears line afforded him all day. They also paved the way for over 100 yards on the ground at over five yards per carry.

Week 10 Rank: 6th

There have been times this season where the Cowboys' line has looked like the dominant one of yore, and Week 10 against the Eagles was one of them. Going up against the best defensive line they’ll see all season, the line paved the way for 151 yards from Zeke Elliott on only 19 carries. Tyron Smith played his best game of the season with an 87.5 overall grade.

12.

Week 10 Rank: 13th

In one of the most entertaining games of the season, the Chiefs' offensive line gave Patrick Mahomes all the time he needed to work in their Week 6 loss to the Pats. Eric Fisher was the only offensive lineman who allowed a pressure on 38 dropbacks.

13.

Week 10 Rank: 11th

The Falcons' highest team run-blocking grade (78.3) and pass-blocking grade (84.9) both came in a blowout victory over the Redskins in Week 9. It truly was a complete team performance, as they gave the Falcons running backs 83 yards before contact on 23 carries (3.6 per carry).

14.

Week 10 Rank: 12th

The Ravens' top line performance was a bittersweet one, as it came in an ugly 12-9 loss to the Browns in Week 5. The Ravens dropped back a ridiculous 63 times to throw in that one and only allowed 17 pressured dropbacks.

15.

Week 10 Rank: 14th

The 49ers' line came to play on Monday Night Football against the Packers in Week 6 and almost stole one from Green Bay. They road graded the Packers' defensive line, as Mike McGlinchey earned a 78.8 run-blocking grade while Joe Staley finished a 74.5. When it was all said and done, the 49ers' running backs gained 148 yards on the ground on 26 carries.

16.

Week 10 Rank: 16th

The Panthers needed every bit of the offensive line’s superb performance in Week 5 to sneak past the Giants. In that game, Cam Newton dropped back to pass 38 times in their comeback and was only under pressure on six of those plays.

17.

Week 10 Rank: 18th

It seems like years ago that the Lions were dismantling the Patriots at home on Sunday Night Football back in Week 3. Kerryon Johnson broke the 100-yard barrier in that game, as the Lions were fueled by a career night from rookie Frank Ragnow and his 82.5 overall grade.

18.

Week 10 Rank: 20th

In the Seahawks' Week 4 win against the Cardinals, it was abundantly clear that this year’s offensive line was vastly improved over years past. They paved the way for 150 yards on 30 carries from Mike Davis and Rashaad Penny while only allowing Russell Wilson to be under pressure on nine of his 30 dropbacks.

19.

Week 10 Rank: 17th

The Bucs peaked early on this season, as pretty much everyone offensively brought their A-game in a Week 1 win over the Saints. Ali Marpet highlighted the effort with an 82.4 overall grade, but Demar Dotson, Caleb Benenoch, and Ryan Jensen did their parts as well allowing one pressure apiece.

20.

Week 10 Rank: 21st

Another team who were on their way to becoming one of the top lines in the league before injuries struck. Back in a Week 2 loss to the Colts, the line allowed all of 12 pressures on 50 dropbacks in a 21-9 loss.

21.

Week 10 Rank: 22nd

You’ll have to go all the way back to Week 1 for when Cam Robinson was healthy to see the Jaguars at their best. Robinson didn’t allow a single pressure in the game after leading the league as a rookie, and the rest of the Jaguars' line only gave up two on 37 dropbacks.

22.

Week 10 Rank: 19th

This is a line that was capable of dominating opponents when they were at full strength, but that was the case far too infrequently this season. Their most complete performance came in their 27-24 win in the opener against Seattle. The Broncos' running backs gained 80 yards before contact on 32 carries in that one for 146 total on the day.

23.

Week 10 Rank: 23rd

I don’t think it’s surprising that the majority of teams vying for the first overall pick had their best offensive line performances coincide with victories. That’s the case for the Bills, who only allowed four pressures on 24 pass-blocking snaps in their Week 5 win over the Titans.

24.

Week 10 Rank: 25th

The Bengals team that put up 37 points in a Week 8 win over the Bucs seems like a completely different one than the team we’ve seen the last three weeks. Joe Mixon went over 100 yards on the ground, and Andy Dalton was pressured only 12 times on 38 dropbacks in what would be their best line performance of the season.

25.

Week 10 Rank: 26th

Picking the Giants' best line performance this season is no easy task. While individuals have had great games, they still have liabilities at too many positions. Their Week 10 win over the 49ers though ended up as their highest-graded, as Eli Manning was only pressured on seven of his 32 dropbacks.

26.

Week 10 Rank: 24th

The Jets are another team that’s yet to get a real complete performance from their offensive line. Their best outing came in a Week 6 win over the Colts, where they only allowed Sam Darnold to be pressured on eight of his 34 dropbacks.

27.

Week 10 Rank: 27th

It was a Week 8 blowout victory on Thursday Night Football over the Dolphins that saw the Texans' line perform at their zenith this season. The offensive line gave up a grand total of six pressures on 26 dropbacks. They’ve had multiple games this season where individual linemen have given up more than that.

28.

Week 10 Rank: 28th

While this line has had their issues in pass protection, they’ve been capable of some dominant run blocking performances. None was more impressive than their Week 6 blowout of the Browns. In it, three linemen (Sam Tevi, Mike Pouncey and Michael Schofield) all earned run-blocking grades over 75.0 as they paved the way for 248 rushing yards on 34 carries.

29.

Week 10 Rank: 30th

The Raiders' top line performance of the season not-so-coincidentally came in their most recent win over the Cardinals. In that one, the Raiders backs averaged over two yards per carry before contact on 33 carries while Derek Carr was under pressure on only 10 of his 35 dropbacks.

30.

Week 10 Rank: 30th

I’ll be honest, it was difficult to find a game this season where the Vikings offensive line excelled. In their highest-graded performance against the 49ers way back in Week 1, they still weren’t exceptional. Kirk Cousins was still under pressure on 14 of his 43 dropbacks.

31.

Week 10 Rank: 31st

Before injuries struck, the Dolphins were well on their way towards being a competent offensive line. Back in a Week 6 thriller against the Bears, the line opened up holes for 158 rushing yards between Frank Gore and Kenyan Drake on 28 carries.

32.

Week 9 Rank: 32nd

On one fateful day in late October against San Francisco, Arizona’s offensive line looked like they could live up to all the investment. In that 18-15 victory in Week 8, the line combined for only eight hurries on 47 pass-blocking snaps. Andre Smith and D.J. Humphries had some of their best games this season with only one pressure allowed between them.
