PFF-Week-Out-WestIt’s your last chance to get caught up on the happenings at PFF before the next slate of games is upon us and our new ‘PFF Week’ posts provide quick access to the week that was. The ‘Out West' edition covers all things pertaining to the AFC and NFC West divisions for a one-stop Saturday shop built to keep you in the loop and on top of your football-watching game.

Perhaps the most hyped game of the season, Broncos-Chiefs wasn't as exciting as many of us hoped it would be though we'll get another shot at a great game as Denver travels to New England in Week 12. Every Week 12 game involving a West team looks to be solid as they all likely still believe that they have a playoff shot. With that said, let's get to the meat and potatoes of this piece: the links.

Week 11 Wrap

Week 11 was another winning week for the Wests as they combined to go 4-3 though a couple of those wins were over the hapless Vikings and Jaguars. All of these teams are still mathematically alive for a shot at the playoffs though a couple are teetering on the edge of having a realistic chance. Among the performances highlighted in this week's batch of ReFocused articles were Justin Houston's great game against the Broncos' OL, a game in which Michael Floyd forced an impressive five missed tackles, and a quality showing from the 49ers' two star inside linebackers.

An ugly total of 10 West players made the infamous ‘Had a Bad Day' Team of Week 11 and only five made the prestigious PFF Team of Week 11.

Looking Ahead to Week 12

The Broncos are making their second consecutive appearance on Sunday Night Football as their game with the Patriots was flexed into the primetime spot. Hopefully this one will live up to the hype a little more than last week's SNF game. In Kiernan Hogan's preview of the game, he writes that the Denver WRs and OL versus the Pats' DBs and DL will be two of the most important matchups of the game.
