PFF Roundup - Week 6

OBJ

Every week I look around PFF Main content and features to see what fantasy insight we can take away to help owners going forward. This week we're looking at an emerging rookie wide receiver, several running backs and which offensive lines around the league are helping fantasy owners.

Beckham's debut

Odell Beckham Jr. finally made his first NFL appearance in Week 5 and he did not disappoint. The rookie wide receiver caught four passes for 44 yards and a touchdown against the Falcons.

In Khaled Elsayed's Falcons-Giants ReFo, he notes Beckham played 38 snaps and ran 24 routes in Week 5. He was also targeted five times, more than Victor Cruz.

A healthy Beckham now faces an Eagles defense that allows 30 points per game to wide receivers, the most in the league. Beckham steps right in to play meaningful snaps in Ben McAdoo's three-wide receiver sets, and he'll see cornerbacks Cary Williams and Bradley Fletcher on the outside with Victor Cruz lining up in the slot.

Williams has allowed 25 catches out of 41 times he's been thrown at. He's given up three touchdowns and 100 yards after the catch. Fletcher's numbers are only slightly better, as he's allowed 21 receptions for 282 yards and three scores as well.

This is a matchup you want to take advantage up. Beckham is only $4,200 on DraftKings for Week 6. Rookie receivers are subject to ups and downs in fantasy, but Beckham facing the Eagles secondary makes me feel more confident about his ability to produce.
