The (5-2) Philadelphia Eagles pay a visit to NRG Stadium and the (4-4) Houston Texans on Sunday. The Eagles are coming off of a late loss in Arizona last Sunday and are a half game back of the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East. Houston is coming off of a 30-16 win in Tennessee and they only trail the Indianapolis Colts by one game in the AFC South.
JJ Watt is always a matchup problem, but this week the Eagles come in with a beat up offensive line. Watt should get to see some time against banged up right guard Todd Herremans and left guard Evan Mathis’s backup Matt Tobin. Both Herremans and Tobin have each graded out at -0.8 against the run and -7.7 or lower in pass blocking so far this season. Watt continues to be a pass rushing phenom as his +41.7 pass rushing grade more than triples 2nd ranked Jason Hatcher’s grade. Watt’s Pass Rush Productivity rating of 13.6 also leads all 3-4 ends.

Philadelphia Eagles
Lane Johnson – He has only played in the last three games, but his +6.9 overall grade ranks 10th out of all tackles. His overall grade includes being a plus in both run blocking and pass blocking.
Cedric Thornton – His +7.7 run defense grade ranks 5th out of all 3-4 ends and his 10 Run Stops ties him for 10th.
Trent Cole – Cole’s 11.0 Pass Rush Productivity rating ranks seventh out of all 3-4 outside linebackers and his pass rushing grade of +10.2 also ranks 7th.
Houston Texans
Arian Foster – Foster’s +5.9 overall grade includes positive grades in running, receiving, and blocking. He’s currently ranked 3rd in our Elusive Rating stat at 67.7.
Chris Myers – He’s looking for back to back monster games after putting up a stellar +6.8 overall grade last week. His overall grade sits at +2.5 for the year.
Ryan Fitzpatrick – Currently our ranked 11th quarterback with a +6.0 overall grade. His 57.7% accuracy percentage on deep balls ranks 2nd in our Quarterback Deep Passing statistic.
