The final week is upon us and this neck-and-neck race is going down to the wire. Khaled and Rick are sharing the top spot with Sam just a single win off the pace and last year's champ, Nathan, also within striking distance. He'll need a good jump up to defend his 2012 Pick'em crown, though his PFF-best 176-win mark is safe for another year.
Last week, for the second straight offering, our team pointed to nine games that they agreed on and got the same six wins for their troubles. The 12-6 in consensus picks these past two weeks has taken the season tally down to 76-22 (78%). Undeterred, our guys have taken it a step further to finish off the regular season and are looking at 10 games with the entire group selecting the same winner.
*Final update:
• With the last regular season week in the books, our team's records are set and Khaled takes the 2013 Pick'em title with a 170-85-1 mark and a (some might say) appropriate win percentage of .666.
• His was the fifth effort we've seen reach the 170-win level in the three years of the Pick'em.
• The final week's 10 consensus games yielded nine wins to take the full season to 85-23 (78.7%).
• Nathan became the first of our group to 500 wins over the three seasons we've put up the picks — his overall record stands at 501-265-1 (65.4%).
