PFF Draft Watch: Signature Stat Spotlight

Deep Passing Yards

QB Will Grier, West Virginia

PFF Edge stat: Leads all draft-eligible quarterbacks with 649 yards on deep (20-plus yard) passes.

Grier has also attempted 10 more deep passes than the next closest quarterback, but his adjusted completion percentage of 53.5 percent ranks 12th in the class.

Elusive Rating

HB Bryce Love, Stanford

PFF Edge stat: Leads all draft-eligible running backs with an elusive rating of 181.0 (minimum 30 carries).

Love also leads with 27 missed tackles forced and he's averaged 5.0 yards after contact per rush.

Run Stop Percentage

Edge Bradley Chubb, NC State

PFF Edge stat: Ranks second among draft-eligible edge defenders with a run stop percentage of 16.7 percent.

One of the nation's top run defenders, Chubb has finished plays as well as any edge defender this season.

Pass-Rush Productivity

LB Drew Lewis, Colorado

PFF Edge stat: Leads all linebackers with 14 total pressures and ranks seventh with a pass rush productivity of 30.0

A breakout player so far in 2017, Lewis has been one of the nation's top linebackers through four weeks of the season.

Coverage snaps, per reception allowed

CB DeAndre Baker, Georgia

PFF Edge stat: Allowed a reception once every 44.3 coverage snaps, third-best in the nation.

Baker is off to an excellent start for Georgia and he's allowed only three catches on 13 attempts for 20 yards to go with an interception and three pass breakups.
