  • Through two games, Louisville QB Lamar Jackson has showed improvement as a passer. Already a dynamic runner, Jackson's adjusted completion percentage of 72.8 percent represents an increase on last year's 69.5 percent mark.
  • Jackson is doing his best work in between the numbers, where he is 36-for-49 for 590 yards and five touchdowns on passes thrown beyond the line of scrimmage. Even beyond the stats, Jackson has thrown a number of pinpoint middle-of-field throws.
  • Outside the numbers it's been a different story, as Jackson has completed only 10-for-23 for 144 yards on passes thrown beyond the line of scrimmage. While Jackson continues to improve as a passer, there is still room to grow this season.
