Offensive Deep League Gems – Week 15
The fantasy football season is winding down. Playoffs are underway and teams are making their final push for a championship. If you’re in a deeper league of 14, 16 or 18 teams (or more), you’re likely in the second week of the playoffs. If you’re still alive that means the waiver wire is still an option if you need to make improvements to your roster.
Even at this late point in the season, you can still find viable, starting-caliber players for your team. Injuries and demotions are still happening, meaning that relative unknowns a week or a month ago are now starting to contribute to their real-life teams in big ways. These players can help your fantasy team just the same, if you’re unhappy at one or more positions.
Though the adage says to dance with the one that brought you, for myriad reasons that may not be a viable option this week. After all, why try to win it all with a running back averaging four points per week when you can do better with a waiver-wire pickup?
