Peyton Manning QB, Broncos ($31)
There have been enough people piling onto the Manning hate-train, but let’s take a look at the other end. Since starting out the year grading negative in three of four games had me concerned about Manning, that’s for sure.
But he has graded out positive in three of his last four games, and although he didn’t throw any touchdowns last week, he looked better than he has in a while.
The lack of touchdowns is likely the reason for his salary being with the likes of Kirk Cousins, Sam Bradford and even the benched Colin Kaepernick. But in Week 9, you should take the plunge and spend money elsewhere.
