The Bengals open up their 2013 preseason schedule tonight against the Falcons. Monday and Tuesday I was able to catch the two teams during combined practices as they prepared for tonight's contest. Here's what I saw from the Bengals.
Bernard's Role
One of the rookie running backs to consider in your fantasy football draft is Giovani Bernard. He has already won the passing down duties for the Bengals and was targeted early and often in their two-minute drill work Tuesday. BenJarvus Green-Ellis is clearly the early down back but Bernard is dangerous in space and it was evident that the Cincinnati coaches are scheming to take advantage of his skill set.
