An abundance of noteworthy-fantasy players have suffered acute injuries–or setbacks in their previous injuries–since the onset of this year’s training camps. The majority of these players have relatively minor injuries—hamstring strains being the most common.
However, some players have more severe and unfortunate diagnoses. 49ers RB Kendall Hunter will miss the entire 2014 season due to an ACL tear. Colts RB Vick Ballard will also miss the entire upcoming season due to an Achilles tendon tear.
Excluding Hunter and Ballard, all of the remaining injured players are expected to return this season. Listed below is a description of each player’s injury and the projected time he will miss. It is crucial that fantasy owners remain up-to-date on these players’ health statuses heading into fantasy drafts.
