Week 8 was a good week for linebackers as eight of the top 20 linebackers in terms of our rest of season projections returned from injury. There were also very few injuries to note of which is good. On top of that, there were teams changing up which situations they were using their linebackers. You can find out what all of this means for your fantasy teams going forward here in the IDP Snap Report.
Jerry Hughes
At one point Hughes was a bust, but he has seen a bit of a resurgence with the Bills. He has had at least three pressures in all but one game this year, and has averaged five pressures over the last three. The Bills were without Manny Lawson last week which led Hughes to play in 70 of 73 snaps. At this point he isn’t worth having on a roster, but if Lawson’s injury became a long term problem or if Mario Williams were to ever get hurt, Lawson would be worth considering in leagues that value pass rushing.
