IDP Lineup Decisions - Week 7
Robert Quinn DL1 vs SEA
Quinn has been the number one disappointment in IDP fantasy football leagues this season. It’s always a tough blow when a top player is injured and out for the season. But to me, it’s even more of a gut punch when one of your top picks stays healthy, plays in each game and simply doesn’t come through. At least if a player is out, you replace him in your lineup.
If you’re like me and own Quinn in one of your IDP leagues you’ve probably continued to start him and pay the price each week. So when do you pull the plug and go with a replacement player? Well, if you have another solid option maybe you can afford to take Quinn out of your lineup. For most though that’s not an option. It’s my philosophy in this situation that you may just have to risk going down with the ship.
IDP player production is just so unpredictable. The variability is extremely high. Quinn did at least post four tackles last week so you’re probably not going to find much better on the waiver wire. He’s on the DL1/DL2 fence this week.
Jared Allen DL2 vs MIA
Allen recorded his first sack last week at Atlanta but that’s not why you should start him in week 7. He faces a Miami offensive line that still struggles at times to protect Ryan Tannehill.
Allen has also come through with solid tackle numbers in four out of the five games he’s played this season. He should be the healthiest he’s been since week two this week as well.
