IDP Consensus Rankings Analysis: Week 11

Every week, our own Jeff Ratcliffe, Ross Miles, Mike Woellert, and Eric Yeomans give you their rankings for each of the three IDP positions.  In this column, I take a look at their ranks and discuss my thoughts on where they agree and disagree.

Defensive Linemen

Although it essentially goes without saying, I'll still note that J.J. Watt has claimed the top spot yet again this week.  Following Watt is John Abraham, Cameron Wake, Terrell Suggs, and Charles Johnson.

Coming in at No. 6 is Justin Smith, which I find to be a bit too high.  One of our staff members ranked him at No. 16, which I believe is much more reasonable.  While Smith has gotten some pressure on the QB lately, he is still without a sack on the season.  Moreover, he’s recorded just three tackles over the past two games.  The bears aren't an overly-enticing matchup, so I would keep my expectations modest for Smith this week.
