Gaming the Game: Week 2 DFS Strategy

Jimmy GrahamWell, in Week 1 I advised being conservative and every rookie went and had himself an opener to remember. Naturally. Fortunately for my self-esteem, where injuries weren't involved player usage generally supported my thought processes. Trusted offensive cogs like Marques Colston, Shane Vereen, Fred Jackson, and Antonio Gates had their chances…and will again as long as they are healthy.

There is a type of boring player with a relatively high floor-think those guys and the likes of Kendall Wright, Ryan Matthews, Pierre Thomas, Roddy White, Julian Edelman to name a few more-that deserves a place in your cash game DFS lineups each week. You don't have to load up on them, and shouldn't, but to lock one or two in at a reasonable salary allows you some freedom to go with much higher upside values and studs without risking everything.
