Week 10 is a good week to illustrate a strategy I use to build lineups very often. I've said before that I like to back up each of my DFS plays with multiple lines of reasoning. Shown below are three of the ‘reasons' I target when picking players: Volume, Efficiency, and Matchup. The players at the intersection of those points, particularly those at an affordable salary ($) are the players I want to build around.
Most of us naturally are trying to achieve this intersection every day or every week that we build a roster for DFS. However, our biases get in the way of making accurate assessments of which players meet each criteria. It doesn't take too long to sift through the actual stats to get an unbiased view of each category though. It's nearly impossible to fill an entire roster this way most weeks, but let's look at some examples of how you can use this idea on DraftKings this week.
