Don't expect a dropoff from Carson Palmer

Recapping what to look for in Week 10:

Marcus Mariota was the No. 24 fantasy quarterback in Week 10, and he was expected to struggle as a QB2 against a tough Carolina defense. Now we’ll see if he can rebound on Thursday Night Football and start to deliver on my QB1 projection for the rest of the season.

The correct downgrades were forecast for Chris Ivory (outside top-10) and Darren McFadden (outside top-20). Devonta Freeman had a bye, and this week against Indianapolis looks like a good spot for coordinator Kyle Shanahan to get the ground game back on track.

Through Wednesday last week, Allen Hurns (44 percent started in ESPN leagues) and Allen Robinson (77 percent) were both underutilized in starting lineups. They both wound up finishing inside the top-14 fantasy receivers for Week 10 as they combined for 60 percent of Blake Bortles’ passing yards against Baltimore.

I also advised not to bother chasing James White or Brandon Bolden because LeGarrette Blount would be a RB1 and the only weekly play in New England. Blount finished as the No. 10 RB in standard leagues against the Giants, and his 38 snaps were as many as White and Bolden combined.

Lastly, a reminder for those seeking a high-upside WR2 down the stretch: These are your last few days to buy low on Sammy Watkins after he was expectedly silenced on Revis Island. Buffalo’s schedule the rest of the way is awfully appealing for success through the air.
