Week 14 means playoffs for most fantasy players, and you’ve begun the final stretch for taking the title and claiming bragging rights. There is a cliche that gets thrown around sports a lot that goes, “take it one game at a time.” While it’s true that if you don’t win this week, you’re not going to have to worry about next week, fantasy owners need to focus on multiple weeks in order to give themselves their best chance to win it all.

With that in mind, we are targeting teams that might be a good option this week, but also have soft schedules for the next three weeks. Targeting a defense that only will work for one week might mean a defense you’d want for the championship game will be claimed by another owner. When possible, look for home teams, especially if they are favored. There are several high-scoring defenses that have fallen off in recent weeks. If you rode the Rams, Bills, or Jets to the playoffs, you might want to consider one of the below teams to take over and hopefully carry you into next week and beyond.
