A lot of fantasy football players will be looking to make up ground on the Week 7 waiver wire, especially if you happened to lose Aaron Rodgers for the season. We have plenty of opportunity at running back this week, some potential upside options at quarterback, and two slam dunks at tight end.

Remember, we cast a wide net every week in our waiver wire advice. Below you’ll see recommendations for shallow, regular, and deep leagues. Players are listed in order of priority and the suggested auction budget percentage is in parentheses.

Keep in mind that some leagues may be more aggressive or conservative in terms of bidding, so know your league tendencies. Regardless of the size of your league, it’s suggested that you work your way down the list and prioritize the top players in your waiver claims for this week.

Shallow leagues (8-10 teams)

Quarterback

Andrew Luck, IND (10-20%) — He isn't likely to return for at least the next two weeks, but Luck is making progress and has the potential to offer elite fantasy value when he's back on the field.

Ben Roethlisberger, PIT (8-15%) — Roethlisberger hasn't been the most consistent fantasy option this season, but he's available in over 25 percent of leagues and could offer some salvation to fantasy owners who lost Aaron Rodgers.

Running back

Adrian Peterson, ARZ (50-100%) — If you're in the roughly 20 percent of leagues where Peterson is still available, it’s worth spending a huge chunk on your FAAB on him. Peterson is a much better fit in the Arizona offense than he was in New Orleans.

Dion Lewis, NE (20-40%) — Lewis appears to have leapfrogged Mike Gillislee in the Patriots offense. He offers dynamic upside in a potent offense.

Wide receiver

Marvin Jones, DET (15-30%) — The Lions head into bye this week, but Jones is a must-add with Golden Tate potentially missing multiple weeks due to injury. Jones is still available in 36 percent of leagues.

John Brown, ARZ (10-20%) — He's back as the clear No. 2 in Arizona, and has the potential to offer weekly WR3 value with upside.

Tight end

Hunter Henry, LAC (20-40%) — The Chargers are starting to unleash Henry. A big-time breakout feels like it's brewing.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins, NYJ (15-30%) — Still available in nearly 40 percent of leagues, Seferian-Jenkins is now positioned as a TE1 going forward as arguably the Jets best pass-catching option.

Regular leagues (12 teams)

Quarterback

Tyrod Taylor, BUF (5-8%) — Available in over 60 percent of leagues, Taylor offers upside going forward and should benefit from Jordan Matthews' return.
