It’s playoff time in fantasy football leagues across the country, so this week’s IDP waiver wire is of paramount importance as fantasy owners look to strengthen their rosters for a push late into December. Unfortunately, by this stage of the season injuries have often taken hold of many a fantasy stud, and while that hurts quite a few of us, it creates opportunities on the waiver wire as well. All that being said, this time of the season is win-or-go-home, so we can’t pull any punches, so be prepared to take a little more risk this week in chasing some hefty points returns.
Defensive linemen
Mike Daniels, Green Bay Packers
The Packers defensive line has been maligned all season for their issues in generating consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks, but the last month of football has seen Daniels step up his production. Over the last four games Daniels has recorded 2.5 sacks, two hits, and seven hurries, while adding 19 total tackles, giving him a decent scoring floor. He’s not a DL1 in the making, but if you need a warm body who is exceptionally unlikely to post a zero in your team’s most important game of the season to date, then Daniels should be your guy.
