Welcome to the Week 3 fantasy football trade value chart. I tried to take my own advice from last week, and made an offer for Corey Coleman, but fortunately for me, the offer was rejected.
We can’t predict injuries, but we can predict how players will perform over the rest of the season. Equipped with these projections, we can put values on each player for trading purposes.
The trade value chart uses our rest-of-season projections to assign values to every relevant player. The dollar amounts assume a 12-team league and a starting lineup of 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, and 1 Flex. The players are displayed in order of their standard league values, but we’ve included the PPR values for those players as well.
Ezekiel Elliott and Le’Veon Bell are still atop the chart. Elliott was miserable last week and Bell has been decidedly average to begin the year. Buy low (if you can).
Jordan Howard (-$22.1) saw his value decrease the most of any player on the chart this week. He’s primed to lose more and more work to Tarik Cohen as the season goes on — mostly through the air — and now might be your best chance to sell high while Howard’s name is still somewhat associated with this draft price.
LeGarrette Blount didn’t register a carry in Week 2. That’s obviously not good. I would be trying to sell now for anyone who actually plays.
Brandin Cooks (-$12.3) saw his value drop the fourth-most of any player on the chart this week after disappointing in a prime spot against his former team in Week 2. Seeing Tom Brady put up 447 passing yards, with just 37 going to Cooks, was tough to see. But New England is so thin at the position that Cooks will have to be involved soon. I’d be trying to buy low.
You might want to see what you can get for T.Y. Hilton. Andrew Luck doesn’t seem anywhere close to returning.
Buy low on Chris Carson, folks. He made his debut on the trade value chart at $17.2, as the No. 21 running back. He’s only going to rise from here after logging 20 attempts for 93 yards in Week 2.
