Welcome to the Week 12 fantasy football trade value chart, which will also serve as the final trade value chart of the 2016 NFL season. May your final trades be prosperous.
As usual, you can use our fantasy trade value chart to help determine who to buy and sell, and how much they are worth. The trade value chart relies on our rest-of-season projections. The dollar amounts assume a 12-team league and a starting lineup of 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE and 1 flex. The players are displayed in order of their standard league values, but we’ve included the PPR values for those players as well.
Below are a few trade questions received on Twitter and answered with the help of the trade value chart.
Trade away Odell Beckham Jr. in exchange for Lamar Miller? — @zaidq21
You should stick with Beckham. The trade value chart has him valued at $37.9, compared to Miller’s $25.5. Beckham’s early season struggles are long gone. In fact, since Week 5, Beckham has been fantasy’s No. 1 receiver. He has scored six touchdowns in those six games.
For his part, Miller has been a tail-end RB1, and that’s about where we expect him to be for the rest of the season. There’s nothing wrong with Miller; Beckham is simply more valuable.
Would you trade Tyler Eifert and Dion Lewis for Brandin Cooks? PPR league. — @kreschy
The combined value of Eifert and Lewis ($32.9) far outpaces Cooks’ value of $19.7. I would sit tight.
Since returning to (full) health, Eifert has caught 15 passes for 235 yards and a score. And with Giovani Bernard and A.J. Green both sidelined, Eifert’s role in Cincinnati’s offense should grow. He’s a bona fide TE1 and should be a huge threat to score every week from here on out.
Lewis, meanwhile, returned to the field in Week 11 and saw 21 of a possible 77 snaps. He ran 13 pass routes and was targeted on four of them. And for those wondering if Lewis is still shifty — he answered with a resounding “yes.” He forced five missed tackles on just eight touches, giving him one of the highest Elusive Ratings of the week among running backs. He could be a huge boon to fantasy owners down the stretch.
Cooks remains a tail-end WR1, but the combination of Eifert and Lewis provides too much value to pass up.
Theo Riddick and Stefon Diggs for Jeremy Hill and Jimmy Graham? PPR. — @coreyhart33
I would definitely go for the Riddick and Diggs side, and the trade value chart agrees. We actually have Diggs projected to be an elite WR1 in PPR leagues for the rest of the season, and he’s valued accordingly at $33.2 — more than twice the value of Graham.
And straight up, Riddick is also more valuable than Hill. We have him projected as a tail-end RB1 in PPR formats for the rest of the year. Riddick ranks third among running backs with 1.65 yards gained per pass route run. His four receiving touchdowns are tied for first among running backs.
Hill gets a boost with Giovani Bernard now sidelined, but the majority of his value was already derived from goal line work, and that won’t change post-Bernard. Hill won’t see much more work, if any, in the passing game, so he remains significantly less value in PPR formats compared to standard leagues.
Graham has returned to the ranks of elite TE1 status — especially with Seattle’s offense now clicking — but he doesn’t provide enough value to close the gap.
In a vacuum, this is a trade for a strong WR1 (Diggs) and a tail-end RB1 (Riddick) for a middling RB2 (Hill) and a TE1 (Graham). You’d take the elite wideout and running back every time.
