The most important preseason games of the 2016 season are now in the rearview, and the regular season is rapidly coming into focus. With many fantasy drafts already completed, some owners are already looking to make trades to round out their team.
Which means it’s time to dust off the trusty fantasy trade value chart.
The chart is meant to help fantasy players navigate the trade waters. It can be difficult to evaluate trades across positions (e.g. a running back for a wide receiver) or uneven trades (e.g. two-for-ones) — or, hardest of all, uneven trades involving multiple positions. Our trade value chart helps you cut through the waves to evaluate all players — regardless of position — with relative values.
The trade value chart relies on our rest-of-season projections. The dollar amounts assume a 12-team league and a starting lineup of 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE and 1 Flex. The players are displayed in order of their standard league values, but we’ve included the PPR values for those players as well.
As of right now, the trade value chart looks just like a draft board. As we progress through the season and some players move up and down the chart, that’s where you’ll be able to find great value. We’ll highlight the movers and shakers in future iterations of the trade value chart.
