Fantasy Football Stock Market - Week 6
The market was bullish on Ryan Broyles prior to week four and if you bought in and started him it’s likely you ended up disappointed. If you took the “wait and see” approach with Broyles and yet again had him in your line-up with the absence of Calvin Johnson then you were once again disappointed. Broyles had a single target for the Detroit Lions in Week 4 and two targets in week five. Sell Broyles if you can get anything for him as he is buried to far behind players like Joique Bell, Reggie Bush, Calvin Johnson, and even Brandon Pettigrew. If Broyles can muster a meager two targets with Calvin Johnson not on the field is there really any hope of mustering more when Megatron comes back? Not likely so sell if you can find a sucker still willing to take him off your hands.
Fred Jackson, RB, Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson is the highest rated running back in Buffalo according to Pro Football Focus.Jackson has an overall rating of +1.8 which happens to be 11.3 higher than back field mate C.J. Spiller. Last Thursday in a starting capacity versus the Cleveland Browns Jackson managed 25.3 fantasy points and a 0.60 PPO good for 3rd best among running backs with 20 plus touches. Jackson has out scored Spiller every week thus far and is out scoring Spiller by almost a 2:1 ratio. You may find an owner who believes Fred Jackson’s recent ascendancy is rather short lived and may be willing to part with Jackson’s if the price is right.
