Welcome to the Week 15 edition of Snaps, Pace, & Stats, where we examine trends in snap totals and no-huddle usage. It is meant to be a 30,000-foot view of upcoming games, with the goal of identifying which matchups will – and which will not – be played on fertile fantasy soil.
(For brevity’s sake, all references to pass or run rates/percentages are in terms of neutral game situations. Unless otherwise stated, we will reference one-score situations (plus/minus seven points) to get a truer representation of game plan.)

New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers
The Patriots average the sixth-most snaps and their games produce the second-most combined plays. They pass at the third-highest rate and opponents throw against them at the 11th-highest. New England operates at the 13th-quickest pace and, despite producing a ton of snaps, their points-per-play mark ranks fourth-highest. Over the last month, the Steelers allow the sixth-most points per snap, with a handful of pedestrian quarterbacks successfully skewing pass-heavy (59 percent, eighth-highest) against their depleted secondary.
