Week 11 fantasy start/sit advice

Just like we do every week, we’ll kick off the start/sit column by looking back at our plays from last week. Remember, this column sets out to find the best starts and sits based on matchups, but we’re not going to sit here and tell you to play Le’Veon Bell against. the Browns. The goal is to find the tough decisions and make them here.

Last week was a major success. We missed on the fringe decision to start Jay Cutler, but came back strong by suggesting to start Eli Manning and Marcus Mariota. Where we really cashed in was suggesting fringe players to sit. That list of five included Colin Kaepernick, Blake Bortles, Christine Michael, Brandon LaFell, and Coby Fleener. Kaepernick was fine, but I hoped you benched the other four.

As always, I would love to continue the discussion and hear your thoughts on your most difficult start/sit questions on Twitter. Throw me a follow @DanSchneierNFL and I am prepared to answer every question that comes my way. For now, let’s jump into the Week 10 start/sit plays.

Start

Kirk Cousins, QB, Redskins (vs. Packers)

Sometimes you have to just ride the wave in fantasy football. Although we never expected to say it before the start of the season, the Packers have become a pass defense to target on a weekly basis. The Titans put up 40-plus points on the Packers in Week 10 and they didn’t do it all on the back of DeMarco Murray. Their success came via the passing game, and that shouldn’t be a surprise for anyone who has watched the Packers.
