Four fantasy starts that are for real

The first three weeks of the season are filled to the brim with uncertainty. We all did our research and we looked over past performance while assessing current circumstances, but until you get these players on the field, in pads, in the midst of true competition, you really don’t know.

Well, in Week 4 we settled into some realities. We have a decent enough sample size to makes some clear calls on the data. We can begin to assess what the numbers really mean.

Here are four player situations that are clear as day and can help steer your season in the right direction moving forward.

Michael Crabtree will continue to share production with Amari Cooper.

I remember ranting about how Michael Crabtree was a value heading into the season on the PFF Fantasy Slant podcast. While Cooper was going off the boards as the 28th overall pick, you could get Crabtree at 87th.

The overall consensus was the Cooper would start taking over Crabtree’s production because he is the future of the franchise. However, that has not happened.
